Whitt's Harley-Davidson/Buell is celebrating our 25th Anniversary this year and is proud to be Northern Virginia's Oldest Harley-Davidson Dealer.
We are a team of Motorcycle Riders and Enthusiasts that have a passion for both Harley-Davidson and Buell motorcycles. Whitt’s is located in Historic Old Town Manassas, Virginia, just a few miles from many Civil War era sites including the Manassas National Battlefield Park. Additionally it’s only a short ride to our Nations Capital or the beautiful Virginia countryside. We are here seven days a week and look forward to your stopping in for a visit.
A brief Whitt’s history lesson (for those that are interested): Whitt’s can originally be traced back to the mid 70's as Fairfax Harley-Davidson in Tysons Corner, VA. One of three Dealerships owned at the time by Mr. H. Whittington (Rockville H-D and Ft. Washington H-D being the other two). The dealership was sold in the late 70's and moved to Manassas, being renamed Manassas Harley-Davidson. Mr. Whittington regained possession of the dealership in 1983 and changed the name to Whitt's Harley-Davidson. This dealership was sold soon after to a long time employee, Mr. Davison. The name was kept and in March 1985 Whitt's Harley-Davidson Sales, Inc. was formally approved and given a new dealer number by Harley-Davidson Motor Company (that officially makes this our 25th Anniversary). Whitt's was one of the few dealers to take on the then upcoming Buell Motorcycle brand in the late 80's thru the early 90's. We later became a Buell dealer once again in 2001 and now do business as Whitt's Harley-Davidson/Buell. | |
